Mix Coratex thoroughly with the next plastics granules to be processed, so that free-flowing cleaning granules are formed. The finished mixture should feel almost dry.

Dismantle the screens and breaker plates of extruders.

Reduce the screw speed by half and lower the screw temperature to below the plasticizing temperature (about 10-20 % below the operating temperature).

Pass the cleaning granules through the machine. The mixture discharged should look flaky when the cleaning material has left the machine. The plastic to be processed can be fed in. Continue production when the operating conditions are reached. A second cleaning may be needed in the event of heavy contamination.

Coratex is also excellently for removal of rust spots on dismantled machinery: Pour undiluted Coratex onto a rag and polish the components to be cleaned.

The Coratex Advantage:

Purges: Barrels and screws, nozzles and hot runner tooling of extruders and injection molding machines under operating conditions.

Enables: Fast change of raw material and higher production efficiency.

Eliminates: Extra stubborn contamination, oxidation traces and cooking residue.

Offers: Low purging process costs combined with easy handling.

Coratex is: Physiologically harmless when used according to directions.

Applies to: ABS, CA, PMMA, PA, PC, PET, HDPE, LDPE, PEAK, POM, PP, PS, PSU, PVC, PVDF, SAN, TPU etc.
